About Us: The Hilltop at Mars Hill College

Website and Newspaper

The Hilltop is the student media organization on campus at Mars Hill College. Run by students enrolled in a series of journalism courses, the website and its companion newspaper publish stories concerning the MHC campus, students, faculty, staff and neighboring community. Any student enrolled at MHC can participate as an editor, writer, designer or photographer. The website is typically updated with new posts about once a week during the spring and fall semesters, and the newspaper is published twice a semester, in October and December and in March and May. No publishing occurs during summer months. The Hilltop accepts advertising for its publications. Click the Ad Rates link at the top right of every page for prices and policies. A television component, tvMHC, may become active in the near future. She listens, encourages and helps the MHC community through life’s tribulations. Pavone, an alumna of MHC, has been ushered into MHC life with nothing short of a packed schedule.
